Get to know Garrett!

Garrett is professionally trained as a firefighter but started running his own cleaning business so he could spend more time with his family.  When you invite King of Clean into your home for a free quote, it will be Garrett that shows up.  Feel free to ask about any of the King of Clean's cleaning processes, he really knows his stuff.

What is your favorite thing about working The King of Clean company?

My favorite thing would be being able to go into peoples homes and making a difference for the better so that their air is cleaner, that their children have a clean surface to play on.

What is your New Year’s Resolution?

My new Years resolution this year has been "To be the best I can be in all aspects of life" whether it be giving my clients the best or being the best I can be at the fire station.

Do you have a Hidden/Secret Dream?

I've always wanted nothing more than to be a Firefighter, and in a certain aspect Ii get to live that dream by volunteering my time as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT for the last 15 years.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is a Sunday Roast, I love a good home cooked meal.

What is your favorite color?

My favorite color as a child growing up was always Red and I would even include Midnight blue to that.

What is your favorite movie or TV show?

I really don't have a favorite TV show, lately I have been watching all of the old tv shows such as MASH, A Team, Andy Griffith Show, Airwolf, Knight Rider

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby has always been model railroading, as a kid growing up I had a small train set.  After I got married I bought a train set and put it up around the Christmas tree just like my dad did when I was a kid.  15 years later I belong to a club and take my kiddos with me to the local train shows.  We have a blast spending time together, each kiddo has their own train so that when they get married they will have their own train to put around the tree.

If you could be a super hero, which one would you be and why?

My superhero is my father.  He is who i want to be when i grow up.  He was a firefighter and has always put others first and been there when he was needed.  There is no superhero that can do what my dad has done and continues to do for his family.  I hope one day to be just like him.

What was your favorite toy as a kid?

Gosh, I would have to say when they first came out with Lazer tag or even the Captain Power series, I know, I am old!

How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?

My oldest pair of shoes in my closet are 20 years old.  I wore them when I served a mission for my church, when I got married, and I still wear them.

Can you play any instruments?

I do play some musical instruments, I can play the Flute and Piano and love and enjoy playing both, they are both soothing and relaxing.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

After my divorce I bought a 3D printer and started to learn how to 3D print, I have 3D printed all sorts of fun things.  I think my favorite print to date is the LDS Tempels, Infinity Figet Cube, 3 foot Imperial articulated dragon.

What is your favorite cereal?

I love either cheerios or frosted mini wheats.  My parents never let us have those sugary cereals and I'm grateful for that.

What was the worst punishment you received at school?

I never got in to trouble at school.

Do you have any strange phobias?

The only phobia I have is Clausterphobia, but when I am on a call that fear vanishes.

Which way does your toilet paper hang on the wall – over or under?

Most definitely OVER, drives me crazy when its the other way around.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?

The ability to forsee the future and have the ability to change it for the better.
